Reflection EP Signed by Marskiii
“Reflection” focuses on how Marskiii is reflecting on her past rather than living it in the present like she was in “Growing Pains”. The first track, “Radio Silence” is a sequel to “Ghostly (lately)” but from the perspective of one of Marskiii’s friends wondering where Marskiii has gone (plot twist Marskiii is long d3ad by now and travelling to the afterlife). It also reflects on the feeling of being ghosted. The second track,”SNAKE” is about feeling strangled in a relationship. Marskiii looks back on a previous relationship and realises that she could’ve avoided this by being ok with being alone. Track 3,”Just Like You” focuses on Marskiii’s low self worth created by society’s beauty standards (Marskiii reference?!) being forced upon everyone and realising, maybe she never wanted to look like these people on social media she was just forced to believe that she needed to look like other people.
